They have to face complex moral dilemmas and choices. Watching what is happening, the viewer involuntarily tries to put himself in the place of the main character and understands that in this situation it is really quite difficult to make the right and the only true decision. In many ways this was achieved thanks to the excellent acting and the director’s work. The first season is replete with a huge amount of drugs, cynicism, sex and quite rude and cruel scenes.
However, this was what most spectators did not have. The fact is that modern series are either too banal or far from the harsh reality. “Animal Kingdom” – this is exactly the project that does not leave behind a sense of falsity is not realistic. This is a pretty serious picture for connoisseurs of the criminal genre.

After the release of the first season, many complained that the show turned out to be rather protracted. The creators promised to fix this, and in the second season the events develop much more dynamically, so that the viewer does not have time to get bored at all.
