Plot

21 century. Anima City has been around for 10 years. It was in this city that thousands of beastmen found their salvation. The main haters of the creatures are people who do everything possible to block the way in Anima City to any creature. Once turned into tanuki, Michiru Kagemori decides to leave his hometown and get to Anima City. But the way there is not as simple and safe as the girl thinks. Hunters strive to shoot the beastman, because they simply hate such creatures.

Michiru is gradually getting to know the world of the city, its inhabitants, who are able to turn from a beast into a man and vice versa. Despite the good-natured and attractive appearance, the city has developed theft and crime. Someone is ready to empty the pockets of a gaping beastman, and someone is ready to destroy all the inhabitants of the town. It is these criminals who serve people for money that are caught by an unrivaled detective – Shirou Ogami. His wolf sense of smell allows him to find anyone who wants to harm animals.

Will Michiru Kagemori find her place in this dangerous but desirable city? Will she be able to find out the secret of her transformation into a beast?..

• Michiru Kagemori – before becoming a beast, she was an ordinary teenage schoolgirl; turned into a raccoon (tanuki); decided to find answers to her questions in Anima City, where she met Shirou; able to turn their limbs into the limbs of other animals; by the character Michiru is bright, cheerful, courageous, energetic person; takes the same care for people and animals; to the end does not know about her abilities.
• Shirou Ogami – able to turn into a wolf; has a great sense of smell; despises people fighting for the rights of the beastman; through acquaintance with Michiru, changes his view in relation to humanity; able to run at unimaginable speed; helps protect residents of his city from corrupt criminals.
• Nazuna Hiwatashi – was turned into a fox (kitsune); Michiru’s best friend; she was caught by the government for study, but the girl was saved by Boris Cliff; by nature, Nazuna is quiet, shy, but able to manipulate others.
• Boris Cliff – savior of Nazuna; knew that the girl had unique abilities; became her mentor, helping to master knowledge of her abilities.
• Alan Sylvasta – a very mysterious person; rich; CEO of Sylvasta Pharmaceuticals; interested in the physical abilities of Michiru and Shirou, so his goal is to study them.
• Barbaray Rose – naked mole-rat; the Mayor of Anima City.
