“Chapelwaite ss 2”: release date, announcement
The horror “Chapelwaite” is based on the story of the ‘Master of Horror’ Stephen King “Jerusalem’s Lot”, published in the compilation “Night Shift” in 1978. In this regard, many viewers suggested that there would be no season 2. But after a long silence, in February 2022, the creators of the project finally announced the start of filming new episodes. Presumably, their premiere will take place in early 2023. There is no exact information yet. We continue to follow the news.
Plot
Already in adulthood, Charles Boone successfully married and sailed to the open sea. For many years sailing on his ship, Charles acquired a loyal crew, and his wife gave him three children. This would have continued, but the wife fell ill and soon died. Before her death, she took a promise from her husband that he would return to land with the children and try to arrange life.
But Charles was too afraid of the land, because there he was overtaken by unthinkable monsters. He saw in himself the features of a mad father and was afraid to harm his loved ones. But for the sake of the children, he was ready for anything. Therefore, overcoming fears, Boone left the ship and went to the family estate. Chapelwaite has been empty for many years now.
The former owners were Charles’s uncle, and then his cousin, who died of grief immediately after the tragic death of his own daughter. By the time the new Boone family moved into the estate, it was as uninhabitable as possible. And although it was still bearable to spend the night in it, the house did not require delay for repair.

Rotten boards, some of them torn out by vandals, broken interior items – all this needed to be replaced. Realizing that he will have to do the repairs on his own, Charles hires the children the governess Rebecca Morgan. The girl dreams of writing a book about the Boone family, so she accepts the offer. She easily finds a common language with children and becomes an integral part of their life.
At this time, Charles is trying to cope with ill-wishers who hated his relatives. Believing that he was as insane as his father, the locals openly expressed dislike, moreover, not only towards the adult Boone, but also towards his children. Having enough experience to fight the attacks of enemies, Charles stands to protect his family. Rebecca is also protecting the Boone family members.
But one day a terrible truth opens up before them. Chapelwaite is not just a home. This is the habitat of the most terrible monsters, which will have to fight not only Charles, but also everyone who lives here. He will soon find out why the people of Maine hate this estate as much as they hate its inhabitants…
