The sequel to the exciting science fiction series “Cloak and Dagger Season 3” will not take place. This was officially announced by the project management on October 24, 2019.

The plot was based on the plot of the comic book of the same name, released by MARVEL. When developing the series, the Freeform channel approved all the changes in the plot, so there are striking differences between the comic book and the television version.

Plot

Tandy’s fate is sad. Being a little girl, her father takes her from her ballet class. Being on the platform near the rig, the girl and her father become victims of the explosion and fall into the ocean. With difficulty Tandy manages to escape, but her father is buried in the ocean. This leaves an indelible imprint on the fate of an adult girl.

At a time when Tandy and his father got under water, Tyrone and his brother Billy wanted to kidnap car radio. They were caught by a policeman Connors, who managed to shoot Billy. Falling, Billy landed in the ocean, and Tyrone decided to jump to pull him. In the end, in a few years it will be known that Tandy and Tyrone were in the water at the same time.

Then the guys got an incredible charge of radiation from the rig. As a result, both got abilities that have become aggravated over the years. After 8 years, Tendy and Tyrone meet by chance and realize that they were together at the time of the explosion of the rig. This meeting is a turning point in the life of each of them.

Since Tandy is robbing the rich, Rick, one of the people she robbed, attacks her. The girl accidentally hits his light dagger and learns about their abilities. Tyrone was able to move after re-meeting Connor, who became a detective. Together Tyrone and Tandy can fight evil, and very soon they realize that they need to unite.

Over time, the relations between them become deeper, which complicates their further joint activities. But there is nothing to do – they have to fight evil, despite the frantic fear for each other’s lives. One of the enemies for them is Brigid O’Reilly. People know her as a detective. But the guys are sure that it is Mayhem, which kills people with poisonous gas.

• Tandy Bowen – a girl from a wealthy family, lost her father after the platform explosion and acquired super powers, is able to throw light daggers, she is friends with Tyrone, robbing the rich, does not want to communicate with her mother, who married a lawyer – Olivia Holt.
• Tyrone Johnson – a ghetto guy, dreams of becoming more successful and financially independent, in love with Tandy, always with her, his brother was shot before his eyes, able to teleport and move other people in space – Aubrey Joseph.
• Melissa Bowen – Tandy’s mother, trying to improve relations with her daughter, after the death of her husband and father Tandy remarried, is a rich woman only because she inherited after the death of her first spouse – Andrea Roth.
• Adina Johnson – Tyrone’s mother, trying to find the means to train her son, does not tolerate excuses, is a serious, impulsive, kind woman who stands for her child with a mountain – Gloria Reuben.

1. Stan Lee became executive producer of the pilot episode. Unfortunately for MARVEL fans, the man died shortly before the release of season 1 of the Cloak and Dagger. Stan Lee – is the creator of most of the popular characters of the studio MARVEL, the former chairman of the board of directors and the creator of The Avengers.
2. After the release of the feature film “Captain Marvel”, viewers accused the series of the fact that Olivia Holt is like another character – the second captain Marvel. The similarity between the girls actually is. But it should be remembered that these are 2 completely different characters, practically unrelated to each other.
3. Aubrey Joseph agreed to the role of Tyrone before reading the script.
