Events of the criminal western are unfolding in 1930. The small town of Iowa is simultaneously decided to visit two people with different views on life – a young pastor who agitates poor people to fight the rich, and a self-confident scabbard, ready to protect the elite from attacks by the pastor. From the outside everything seems to be the usual confrontation between two men, but none of the residents realizes that they are connected by a common past.
When will the series “Damnation Season 2” be released?
The second season of the series “Damnation” will not take place. The producers of the film officially announced that season 1 was the only one and should not be continued. The project is closed.
Plot
Priest Seth Denverport decided to put the rich Iowa on his knees. The main action of the series begins after he persuades workers to strike against the head of the enterprise.
Nobody knows that the pastor’s sermons are not so clean, as he pursues personal motives – the owner of the factory where the strike is planned, fought with him for the heart of his beloved woman. Now the tycoon lives in Iowa and is considered the most influential person in the whole city.
Strike can end badly and the rich man understands this. So without remembering who Mr. Denverport is, the tycoon decides to hire a specialist to fix the problem. Krieli Turner arrives immediately, as soon as he received an order for the liquidation of an opponent.
The confrontation between the pastor and the strikebreaker has been started for a long time, rooted in the past, but none of the town’s residents can guess.
The second season will continue the narration and in more detail will reveal minor characters. The picture was taken at the time when the Great Depression began in the United States, when the problem of lack of jobs, the hunger strike of the population and at times the increased number of crimes was acute.
Actors and their roles
- Seth Davenport – Killian Scott. Irishman, graduated from the London Drama Center. A relatively young actor, in this series received the first major role. He took part in such works as “Strike”, “Bastolochi”, “Ripper Street”.
Kriley Turner – Logan Marshall-Green. Busy shooting since 2001. A participant in the movie “Spiderman. Homecoming”. He played the main role in the series “Mercenary Quarry”. He has a twin brother. - Amelia Davenport – Sarah Jones. She never planned to become an actress, was casually invited to one of the American talk shows, after which she was invited to an episodic role in the series, which was broadcast in the US. She played the main roles in the films “Alcatraz” and “Vegas”.
- Don Berryman – Christopher Heyerdahl. An anthropologist and a Norwegian traveler. Participated in the series “Stargate. Atlantis”.
Interesting Facts
- The original name of the western is “The Damnation Wind”.
- Aden Young was invited to the main role, but after requesting an unthinkable fee for participation, was rejected and replaced by Killian Scott.
- In social networks, information about the closure of the series after the first season is widely spread, but none of the official sources confirmed this theory. It is well known that the creators of the series began the filming process of the new season “Damnation” in February 2018.

I am very upset. This show was very good I have watched the whole first season in a matter of a few days just to find out that’s it. I don’t understand why this show would not continue. It’s a shame.
