Plot
3,700 years have passed since that strange and terrible day when a bright light swept across the planet and chained people in stone. Senku awoke six months earlier than his friend Taiju. During this time, he was able to analyze the situation, build a dwelling and create the necessary things for everyday life. Being a young genius, an expert in exact sciences, the guy could easily make fire, build a house, and over time, obtaining the necessary materials, he will create medicines and Revival Fluid that can save all people without exception from stone imprisonment.
Senku was waiting for his friend’s awakening, because while he is the brain, Taiju is the physical strength of their tandem. Having united, they will be able to overcome any obstacles, although Taiju has one desire – to save his beloved girl, petrified at the moment when he wanted to open his feelings for her.

For Senku, only science is important. Once in the stone world, the guy has every chance to revive civilization, start developing it from scratch, because his knowledge is more than enough for this. But it’s not that simple. While Senku dreams of leading the Kingdom of Science, Tsukasa is ready to destroy the wise guy in order to prevent his goal from being achieved. He has his own plan and his own task. However, these are far from all the difficulties that Senku and his faithful friends will face in the new episodes…

Interesting Facts
- In November 2019, Crunchyroll named “Dr. Stone” as one of the 25 Best Anime of the 2010s. The adaptation made it to a similar list on the IGN information website.
- Originally, Riichiro Inagaki, the author of the original manga, came up with the name Gaku for the main character, which means “study” in Japanese. But as the story was written, it seemed to him that the name did not suit the guy-scientist. Too much has been said about science and knowledge. So the decision was made to replace “Gaku” with “Senku”, which means “Thousand Sky”. Riichiro Inagaki spoke about this in one of his interviews.
