“Evil ss 3”: release date, announcement

Even before the release of Season 2, the management of the TV drama show “Evil” officially announced that another season awaits viewers. The fans were delighted with this news! Despite the fact that the exact release date for the new episodes has not been named, everything suggests that the premiere will take place closer to July 2022. It is known that filming for season 3 began in the summer of 2021, and it takes at least a year to produce one season. So look forward to next summer!

Plot

In order to have time to look after four children, Kristen takes a day job. Since everyone considers her an excellent psychoanalyst, she works in an office that pulls out confessions from maniacs, obsessed, psychopaths and other persons who have committed crimes. On one of these assignments, Kristen is noticed by former journalist David Acosta, who needs help.

Acosta studies to be a priest and casts out demons from people. Kristen doesn’t believe in such things, which is exactly what David needs. He needs an impartial opinion when it comes to those who pretend to be possessed. Using scientific methods, a woman proves that clients are lying, but sometimes there are cases in which it is hard not to believe.

There is a turning point in Kristen’s life. She uses the services of a psychotherapist, to whom she tells that she dreams of traveling with her husband again, to visit Everest. It is difficult for a woman to just think that children stop her desires and she has to sacrifice her own interests for the sake of them.

Mom presses on Kristen, wanting to clarify. Considering the son-in-law an irresponsible person, unable to devote time to the family, mom wants to put this idea in Kristen’s head. At the same time, children are increasingly asking where their dad is, while he works as a guide in the mountains. Deep down, an exhausted Kristen envies her husband, although David Acosta is increasingly beginning to occupy her thoughts.

Together they investigate new cases in which possessed people turn out to be charlatans. David is studying to be a priest and believes in evil forces. Kristen remains skeptical even when the situation suggests otherwise. She always finds logical answers. Once she managed to catch one of her psychologist’s clients in a lie, who stole secret data and used them against her.

But in season 3, the woman will have a harder time, because the future of her children is at stake. How will she cope with the new challenges? And will her temporary collaboration with Acosta end?

• Ben Shakir – Acosta’s constant companion; helps to customize various technical equipment; a skeptic, afraid only of a real threat and will never believe in the existence of myths, magic or demons – Aasif Mandvi.
• Dr. Leland Townsend – David’s enemy; his passion is forcing others to do terrible things through occult techniques; he forces people to resort to demonism, even collects information about Kristen in order to use her accidentally spoken words in the future – Michael Emerson.

Interesting Facts

1. For Michael Emerson, the villainous role has become the most beloved one. How good he looked as an antagonist when the whole world was waiting for every episode of the TV show “Lost”! Having again returned to the previous image, he was able to bring a new, unknown feeling of the audience’s dislike for his character.
2. Mike Colter received an offer to star in the film after it became known that the project “Luke Cage“, in which he played the main role, will definitely not continue. The “Jessica Jones” show, where he played the same character, is also closed – all MARVEL TV series had to be closed after Thanos clicked.
