The continuation of the TV show “Fargo” is officially confirmed! Since the coronavirus postponed the show of the season 4 indefinitely, the creators decided to postpone the launch of the season 5, which may be the final one.
The fact that viewers will see the season 5 of “Fargo” became known in February 2022. The exact date of the premiere of the new episodes is unknown, but unofficial sources claim that the release will take place in early 2023. 

Plot

Each season of the series is determined by an individual plot, which is associated with another one with only a few facts. In season 1, it was about the loser Lester Nygaard, who was so not respected by others that even former classmates could hit him when they met him on the street. At the same time, the last meeting with classmates took place a long time ago, and Lester is already more than 40 years old.

One day, Lester meets the mysterious Lorne Malvo, who offers him to kill the offender – a classmate. In a fit of emotion, Lester agrees to such an offer. But in the end, when Lorne does his job, Lester begins to deny his involvement. And after a while, he himself kills his wife, feeling a strange sense of satisfaction.

Season 2 was a prequel to the first one, and talked about the cops that were featured in season 1. It was a crime investigation at a time when police officers were still young. All this happened back in 1979 in the state of South Dakota. This was often discussed in season 1, which created a certain intrigue in the second one.

In season 3, two twin brothers become the center of history. Emmit Stussy owns parking lots throughout Minnesota, he loves his own life, which he spends on pleasure. The guy does not think about anything, because he has everything he once dreamed about. His brother Ray is the exact opposite. Moody and pessimistic. He works as a warden in a prison and is constantly doing bad things.

For the season 4, the main characters were the leaders of criminal gangs who decided to join forces to take control of smuggling and drug trafficking. To do this, they decided to exchange sons. But everything went wrong when one of the leaders dies. Now they will have to build the story in a different way, but to the end it is not known which one.

Screenwriters are stubbornly silent when it comes to season 5 and refuse to give the audience even a synopsis, hiding all the events. Undoubtedly, the new season is worth watching. But we need to wait for official information on the continuation of the project.

• Lester Nygaard – a loser in life, humiliated by his wife, friends and other people around him; accidentally meets a killer Lorne, who offers Lester to quickly become a man and kill everyone who is not nice to him; in the end, Lorne kills the first offender Lester, which launches irreversible consequences for his new acquaintance – Martin Freeman.
• Lorne Malvo – a killer that nothing and no one can stop; behaves naturally, as if all his life he has been engaged only in murders; travels around the country, killing people and thereby earning a living; gives Lester valuable advice, but then decides to help get rid of the offenders; he is mysterious, unpredictable and seems very strange – Billy Bob Thornton.

1. They say that Billy Bob Thornton did not want to use the services of a make-up artist. He came to the set already in full dress, including appearance, makeup, hairstyle and more. It was important for Billy to show his hero the way the audience eventually saw him. The director approved Thornton’s initiative.
2. Perhaps not all viewers noticed, but each season begins the same way. A voiceover says that the story is real, but because of respect for its participants, the names were changed in advance. Everything is shown as it actually was – in this way the creators of the series honor the memory of the dead people in question.
3. The brothers Joel and Ethan Coen have a film that talks about the manager who decided to kill his wife. This was the idea for the creation of the show “Fargo”. Even the basic concept of the series has remained the same. The producers were delighted when such a script fell into their hands, because this is a great story for any TV project!
