“Five Days at Memorial ss 2”: release date, announcement
The drama TV show “Five Days at Memorial” is based on the book of the same name by journalist Sheri Fink, published in 2013. The book was a huge success, as was the series. At the moment, there is no information about what is being prepared for the launch of Season 2 — the project was originally conceived as a limited mini-series.
Plot
Dr. Anna Pou’s shift has been hectic — people began to arrive at the hospital who wanted to wait out the hurricane behind the strong walls of the hospital building. They carried with them food, pets and necessary things. Unfortunately, the bad weather was able to leave these people cut off from the world for a long time, because the rain and wind raged in earnest.
Susan Mulderick, head of emergency operations, ordered everything needed to be removed from the basement, including food that people stuck here would need. Unfortunately, the equipment that provided the hospital with light was also in the basement, and as soon as the water level rose, the lights went out. Doctors were not ready for such a deplorable turn of events.
As soon as it came to serious decisions, even men hid behind Susan. In order not to take responsibility in a situation that in every way disposes of the imminent presence of victims, everyone wanted to stay away. The only exceptions were a few doctors, among whom was Anna. While the rest gave in to difficulties, she saved her own and other people’s lives.

The husband of Pou stayed at home — he did not want to leave the house unattended. Being believers, they both prayed for each other and for people in need of help. But the longer the stay in the hospital continued, the more difficult the situation became. People lacked food, water and basic personal hygiene products. Some devices did not work due to lack of electricity.
Elderly people remained on the 7th floor of the Memorial — the territory rented for them was considered a separate place from the main hospital. When the roof began to leak, nursing home staff panicked and turned to Mulderick for help. She had no choice but to take care of them. But has she done enough for old people? This will be known after the investigation…
The TV series focuses on the actions of the leadership, who failed to behave like true bosses. By making people doubt their own worth, they themselves provoked a wave of fear and horror that haunts those imprisoned in the hospital for these 5 days. But they will answer the main question later: who, after all, took the lives of more than 40 people?
