Plot

• Saichi Sugimoto – war veteran; owns hand-to-hand combat; strong, courageous man; 3 scars on his face speak of the hardships of fate; the hunt for gold made Saichi obsessed, but without personal gain, because he has a bright goal – to help a friend; despite courage, toughness and numerous victories, Saichi sometimes shows low self-esteem; after meeting Asirpa, he directs all his care and affection to her.
• Asirpa – an energetic, stubborn and dexterous girl of the oldest population of the Ainu; always carries a long bow and several different knives; initially seems to be a cold-blooded and cruel heroine, but acquaintance with Saichi makes her softer and more open; a wonderful hunter, because she was taught this from childhood.
