Plot

Long ago, the 7 kingdoms were constantly at war with each other. But, as the story goes, God himself got tired of looking at this, as a result, he descended to Earth and chose only three rulers. Since then, everything has gone on as usual and has not changed for 60 years.

The main character loved the game “In the Land of Leadale”. As a human being, she was a happy daughter and girl exactly until the day when a terrible tragedy happened. Cayna lost her parents and became disabled herself. Immovable and forever chained to the bed, the girl was connected to a life support device that stopped working from a sudden loss of electricity throughout the city. Cayna’s body died, but her mind passed into another world.

The girl woke up in an unknown room, while she could move all parts of her body. Cayna quickly figured out that she was inside her favorite game, where her name is Keina Kagami. The new world, which has stepped forward by 200 years, is gradually becoming its familiar environment. Gathering her thoughts, she sets off on a big journey…

Main characters

• Keina Kagami — was happy until the day when the tragedy occurred, after which she could not move independently; died when the hospital went out of power and the machine supporting her breathing went out; after waking up, she turned out to be an elf in her favorite game; now she lives in this world, where she owns magic that can destroy any enemy.
• Skargo — elf, eldest son of Keina, adopted by her in the game world; owns healing magic; very popular in his Kingdom; adores his mother despite the fact that he constantly receives reprimands from her.
• Mai-Mai — Keina’s eldest daughter, her second child in the game world; a sorceress under the Kingdom in the past, in the present — the director of the Academy; lived for a short time with her first husband, from whom she gave birth to twins; now married to a baron.

1. In November 2010, the original series of novels “In the Land of Leadale” was released for the first time, published on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. In December 2012, readers received the final issue. In print form as a light novel, this story began its existence in January 2019. In January 2022, the 8th volume was published. Then a manga adaptation began to be published — its 1st volume was released in March 2020, and in January 2022 — the fourth one.
2. The anime series was directed by Takeyuki Yanase, who has a huge number of works in various anime. Among them: “If It’s for My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord“, “By the Grace of the Gods”, etc.
