“Invasion ss 2”: release date, announcement

Unfortunately, the very first episodes of the season 1 of the TV series “Invasion” did not show much interest in the project from the audience. Critics’ ratings also turned out to be average, which cast doubt on the fate of the season 2. But the directors and producers of the TV show will probably analyze the mistakes and release a sequel of better quality — in December 2021, the project was officially renewed for the season 2. It is planned that viewers will see new episodes on August 23, 2023.

Plot

Aneesha and Ahmed Malik are a great married couple. They are wealthy, raise two children, get along well with each other. Ahmed has to work hard to support his family — this is what Aneesha thinks and does not bother her husband when he comes home later than usual. One day in music class, their daughter got sick. The mother, who arrived in time, saw that everything was fine with her son, and that the rest of the children had nose bleed.

All the way, the woman tried to call her husband, but in vain. At the hospital, the doctor asked not to panic and give the child more rest. Already at home, Aneesha decides to look at her husband’s whereabouts by geolocation. Taking the children with her, she goes to him, naively believing that he is in danger. But Ahmed had fun with his mistress, forgetting about family problems.

When he returned home, Aneesha decided to talk to him, but at the most inopportune moment an earthquake began. Not having time to figure out anything, they grabbed the children and tried to find a safe place.

Mitsuki is an employee of the Space Flight Center. She did not tell anyone that her beloved flew into outer space today and will return in about a year. Grieving parting, she finds traces everywhere in the apartment from the stay of her beloved. The next day, in the midst of work, an inexplicable phenomenon occurs: the spacecraft is torn apart along with the crew members.

Another eyewitness to the incident is the elderly Oklahoma Sheriff John Bell Tyson, who in his entire life has not solved a single important case. And although everyone loves him, he despises himself for not having achieved anything more significant than working on patrol. In the middle of an evening in his honor, where colleagues wish him good luck in retirement, the man realizes that he has to solve one recent case related to a circle in the field.

This circle came from nowhere, and John Bell wants to solve this riddle. But things are not as simple as they seem. After a couple of minutes, an unknown creature stuns him with a stab in the back and the sheriff can no longer do anything. What are these unexplained phenomena? What happened to Mitsuki’s girlfriend? How will Aneesha, Ahmed and the children be saved? Will the sheriff wake up after being hit?

• Ahmed Malik — husband of Aneesha; under the guise of urgent work, he did not pick up the phone; did not make excuses to his family and returned home what time he wanted; got a mistress who cooks deliciously, spent evenings at her house, while Aneesha was forced to deal with her daughter’s health problems; was surprised to see his wife’s dish of his mistress, but then he pulled himself together and accused Aneesha of being boring — Firas Nassar.

1. The series premiered on October 22, 2021. For the creation of one season, Apple TV + allocated $ 200 million and called the project the most expensive of all that came out in 2021.
2. One of the producers of the project is John Blair, the creator of the popular TV series “Desperate Housewives”.
3. After successfully directing the TV series “Luther”, Jamie Payne was invited to the series “Invasion”.
4. Golshifteh Farahani was the first actress to be cast.
5. The filming process for the film was originally supposed to begin in mid-2019, but screenwriter Simon Kinberg was still busy with another project. Principal photography took place in New York, England, Morocco and Japan. The production process was suspended for 2 weeks in February 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. As a result, filming ended in March of the same year.
