Plot
Despite the unique foresight in the field of IT technology, Elliot is deeply unhappy in life. The guy periodically uses morphine and suffers from a serious mental disorder that interferes with his normal communication with living people.
That’s why sitting at home, he surrounded himself with all sorts of gadgets. The disease forces Elliot to spend all his free time alone. Nevertheless, he managed to get a prestigious and highly paid job and achieve good results in it.
Its primary responsibility is to monitor software security and troubleshoot. At home, he improves his hacking skills. Thus, it was noticed by the unknown, who offered recruitment to their ranks, in exchange for hacking the security systems of the corporation where Elliot works.
As a fighter for justice, he agrees. During the first three seasons, the guy and his new Internet friends hack into one secret program after another. Each of these operations is denoted by the code name.
Elliot is convinced that the leaders of large organizations are ruining the outside world and are causing a huge discord in the relations between people and countries. What is this – a dissociative disorder that a guy or reality suffers? Can anyone at least convince Elliot in the opposite?
Actors and their roles
- Elliott Alderson – Rami Malek. The actor has Egyptian roots, due to which he has an outstanding appearance. Twice nominated for the Golden Globe, and also owns the premiere of Emmy. The most popular series in his file cabinet is “Mr. Robot”, which brought him worldwide fame.
- Darlene – Carly Chaykin. She began her career in independent cinema. A few years later met on the set with Miley Cyrus. From 2011 to 2014 she starred in the series “Suburbs”.
- Angela – Portia Doubleday. The actress was born in 1988 in the family of actors and in just 10 years she played her first role. It can be found in the films “Telekinesis”, “She”, “Mr. Sainshine”, “Revolted Youth”. Recent work with her participation was the film “Fashionable Thing”.

- Rami, thanks to his charming appearance, fascinated all the girls on the set, which led to further difficulties, because each of the girls did not want to let the young man to a potential rival.
- Since 2015, the series has been broadcast by the USA Network television channel. The pilot series was launched free of charge in Youtube, thus trying to attract as much viewers as possible. The idea worked out so well that the audience is eagerly awaiting the fourth season of “Mr. Robot”.
- For all of its existence, the series has been nominated five times for the Golden Globe Award as the best drama series. And in 2016 he received 6 nominations for “Emmy”.
