Plot

The work is absolutely not impressive for Nancy, but after the death of her mother, the girl did not want to continue to engage in detective activities. Previously, Drew was repeatedly caught by the police at the scene, so she did not want to create new problems for herself. She was only interested in going to college.
On one of the working days, the cafe was visited by wealthy guests. The wife of one of them remained waiting on the street, and when Nancy went out to her again, she saw a woman dead near her own car. Deciding to step back from the vow never to investigate, Nancy gets down to business again. Only she did not take into account that she was one of the suspects.
By investigating the death of a wealthy lady, Drew learns secrets about her own family. But these are not all the dramas that await her on the doorstep. It turns out that the girl’s lover had a motive for killing the deceased – several years ago, Nick was put in jail after the lady gave the wrong testimony in court, putting all the blame on the guy.
Georgia was completely in a secret relationship with the husband of the deceased, and Bess did not disdain to remove the expensive ring from her finger. In such a tangled tangle of events, it is very difficult to find a real killer, but for Nancy, such tasks are not the first time. She is ready to restart the investigation, only to find and punish the perpetrator.
Many more investigations await her ahead. A difficult relationship with his father is balancing on the brink. The news of his connection with her mother’s best friend terrifies Nancy, and it remains to be seen whether the girl will be able to forgive the parent who betrayed her mother’s memory. Interesting Facts
- Initially, it was proposed to make the main character a younger girl, since Kennedy McMann is very different in age from her character. Even the actress from the first part of the thriller “It” claimed this place. But in the end, McMann’s physical development and her ability to file herself did their job.
- Tunji Kasim may not appear in the second season, because for a long time he did not want to sign a contract with the creators, demanding to change the conditions and increase the amount of the fee. It is still unknown how their confrontation will be resolved, but the actor is serious, because his duties included even what was not prescribed in the contract.
- Most tattoos on Georgia’s body are real. In the season 2, viewers will learn the meanings of some of them, and will also be able to plunge even more into the character’s personal life.
- The season 1 was ready back in July 2019, but The CW decided that “Nancy Drew” was worthy to be released at the same time as the best news this fall. Viewers were waiting for “The Walking Dead“, “Supernatural“, “Legacies“, and other long-awaited series.
