Plot
A group of people, desperate to meet their love, decided to go for an experiment. One of the largest corporations offered to participate in the experience, which was called “Osmosis”. According to the creators, the program is able to quickly solve problems concerning the partner. All subjects actually believed that this was their chance to start a new life.
One of the girls participating in the experiment, complex about their appearance. The girl is at a loss as she cannot change her own image, and with the one she is, no one wants to meet. Watching TV only exacerbates the situation, because on each channel, she only hears people talking about pure, sincere and mutual love.
Another guy who decided to take part in the experiment, considers himself dependent on carnal pleasures. It would seem – what’s wrong with that? The main thing is to keep your sexual emotions in check. But it turns out he is very tired of this life and wants peace. The guy is sure that it is love that can help him gain independence from his own libido.
The experiment was to take a pill that would help the children change their own lives. After that, a luminous circle appeared on the participants’ hand, and it was necessary to carefully observe it – here it is always in sight. At first, everyone just waited for amazing emotions and had no doubt of success. But, as you know, experiments do not always end well…
In season 1, each of the subjects was subjected to psychological pressure, and the pursuit of love did not become a solvable problem. Some, on the contrary, are even more mired in their vices than before. It turned out that the search for its second half is a much more labor-intensive process than its participants assumed. Over time, everyone was able to feel the pain.
In addition, many participants in the experience were convinced that falling in love gives not only positive emotions, but also physical pain, which is sometimes impossible to overcome. In the new episodes, the misadventures of experimental people will end, but supporters of the Osmosis program will begin to look for other ways to conduct their experiments.

- Casting took a lot of time. The creators wanted to use the budget for the production of the series, and not for the actors, so many of them are beginners. Several people were summoned to work on the casting: Aurelia Moiraine, Matilda Snodgrass, Frank Juard, Emily Shomat, Oreli Avram – they had to look for talents among unfamiliar people.
- The director allowed most actors to choose an image for his character on his own. For the rest of the actors, the make-up artist Maby Anzalone and his assistant Frederick Nei were required during the filming of the season 1.
- Jean-Francois Hensgens became the director of the project – this was his debut work. Previously, he was more focused on camera work, and in his files there are more than 50 films, the most recent of which are “The White Knights”, “All Three of Us”, “News from Planet of Mars”, “Killers”.
- Haviland Stillwell – the most popular actress in the series. In real life, she not only acts in film, but also sings songs. She gladly accepted the offer to participate in the casting of the TV series “Osmosis” and was glad to become one of the main characters. Her fee is almost 2 times more than the rest of the actors who play the main roles.
- It is still unknown where the shooting of the series takes place. At first, viewers thought that one of the Belgian landscapes was taken as a basis, but the flora of those places was able to suggest that the shooting process most likely took place in the south of France. As a result, the place remained secret, and the audience has only to guess – which city was taken as a basis.
