“Reservation Dogs ss 2”: release date, announcement
It was officially announced in September 2021 that the comedy-drama “Reservation Dogs” will have a sequel. The first season was a success, so there is no point in delaying the new episodes. Since filming began in the fall of 2021, Season 2 will premiere towards the end of the summer of 2022.

Plot
Oklahoma. Four friends, all of whom are Native Americans, are trying their best to make money. Bear is looking for profit with all his might, like his comrades, but time is running out, and it is not possible to save up for the long-awaited move to California. But the case turns up, and they steal a truck. After its sale, the mood of the guys becomes much better.
At this point, a local police officer from the reservation named Big appears. He interviews the guys about several crimes, but they deny any questions. True, most of the crimes listed by Big really committed by the four. Not knowing anything, Big leaves, informing the Bear that he went to get ready for a date, to which he invited his mother.
But the guy has other worries: Bear begins to notice that his conscience is tormenting more and more often. He is worried that the truck driver might die. Bear knew that he needed to be treated for diabetes, and the car was the only way to make money for treatment. While the guy is tormented by his own thoughts in the company of friends, unknown people fire at them with paintball weapons.
For a few seconds Bear loses consciousness and sees a dream: an Indian on a horse jokes with him and teaches life, calling his friends’ actions senseless and stupid. Bear himself has long thought that they are doing what they should not, but only now he is seriously thinking about it. Having shared his thoughts with friends, the guy stumbles upon a misunderstanding.
Elora has her own reasons. Quite recently, their friend died, who also wanted to do only the right things, but fate turned out to be unfair and he was gone. The girl does not want to end the same way and is ready to leave the reservation at any cost. Conscience also overtakes her. Then a difficult decision has to be made: she gives her share of the proceeds from the sale of the truck to Bear.
The guys hope that this will help them buy the car and give it back to the owner. But is it that simple? After all, now they will have to prove their superiority before the new leaders…

- Big — a police officer who goes after Bear’s divorced mother; always looking for criminals walking under his feet, but more often than not he just wants to look cool in the eyes of others; stops at a local cafe, where he likes to chat with its owner — Zahn McClarnon.
- Bear — a silent teenager, in whose head an Indian has settled, giving advice; Bear dreams of leaving the reservation and going to California with friends, but when it comes to conscience, he is not ready to go against himself; treats his father well, considers him a rapper, while his mother is convinced that he is a loser — D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai.
- Elora — a brooding, sad girl; does not notice the guys care about her, who make her buckle up, even when they steal a truck; lives with thoughts of moving, but cannot resist the impulse to return the accumulated money for the car in order to buy it back — Devery Jacobs.

- The project was directed by Oscar winner for “Best Original Screenplay” Taika Waititi. He received this honor after the release of the film “Jojo Rabbit” in 2019.
- The TV show “Reservation Dogs” was originally conceived as a comedy project, but later it was decided to include elements of drama, a love component and a detective plot.
- Since 2007, Devery Jacobs has been acting in films, but the girl is also ready to take up work behind the scenes with interest. For example, in 2018 she was lucky to become a screenwriter, director and actress in the TV project “Ara Marumaru”.
- On the Imdb website, the TV show “Reservation Dogs” earned 8.1 out of a possible 10. Popularity declined slightly towards the end of Season 1. The finale was so unexpected and unrespectable in the eyes of the viewer that more than a hundred negative reviews appeared.
