See Season 2

The events of the series take place in the distant future, when only speculations about what a person could see earlier remained among people. Now everyone around is blind, and for a long time there are no longer those who still believe that vision can be returned. Tribes are fighting among themselves, fighting for their truth, and only Baba Voss wants to stop the bloodshed and find peace on Earth…

When will the new episodes of “See Season 2” be released?

The continuation of the fantastic series “See” was supposed to take place in November 2020. This became known in December 2019 at the next congress of stars, which are increasingly being shot in multi-part films, leaving full-length films.
Jason Momoa really wanted to continue to star in exciting projects and again play the good warrior, as he was during the filming of “Game of Thrones“. In the series “See,” he managed to appear before the audience in the usual way and get away from the image of the almighty Aquaman.

p.s. During the coronavirus pandemic, filming of the show “See” was suspended and resumed only in October 2020. In this regard, the premiere of the season 2 has been postponed to August 27, 2021.

Plot

By the time these events occurred, people had already completely lost their sight and belief that it once existed. Under the ban there was even talk of vision. But at all times there were people ready to withstand the system. So was Jerlamarel, who was able to convince Maghra of his gift. The girl believed him, then became pregnant, but happiness did not last long.

Maghra had to leave his native land and go on a long journey to gain support. She found Baba Voss and his tribe, who without any problems accepted a stranger and treated her unborn child with kindness. Baba Voss himself had dreamed about children all his life, but could not have them. The meeting with Maghra became magical for him.

Baba Voss immediately offered Maghra his support. They began to live together, maintain a good relationship and wait for the birth of a child. But on the day the girl was due to give birth, Baba Voss received word that witch hunters were approaching his tribe. And they came for Maghra, who is giving birth at the moment in a dark cave.

With heavy losses, having defended his lands, Baba Voss went to Maghra. He learned that the girl gave birth to two children – a boy and a girl. But at a general vote, the tribe decided that they all needed to go to another place. Witch hunters will not stop until they completely burn the village and its inhabitants.

The tribe sets off on a journey and quickly finds a new haven that they like even more than the past. One problem – now Baba Voss is forced to rule a tribe that cannot be mentioned with outsiders, because because of Maghra they are everywhere pursued by witch hunters. Time passes, children grow, and their main gift grows with them – sight…

The start of season 1 showed viewers that screenwriters were able to come up with something more worthwhile than “Game of Thrones”. But by the end of the season, the audience diminished. Will the season 2 be the last – time will tell.

Actors and their roles

• Jerlamarel – a sighted man who lured Maghra to his side; could convince her and prove that he was able to see; Jerlamarel killed Queen Kane’s sister, and as a result became the most hated person in the kingdom where no one sees each other – Joshua Henry.
• Maghra – a girl who believed in Gerlamarel and became pregnant from him; she hid from the anger of Queen Kane in the Baba Voss tribe, after which she established herself as a good person; the leader fell in love with her and adopted her children as relatives – Hera Hilmar.
• Baba Voss – the leader of the tribe where Maghra escaped; he is smart, cunning, impulsive; Baba Voss cannot have offspring, so he easily agreed to a relationship with Maghra, who gave him two children; knows how to choose friends and knows his enemies; he is kind and ready to defend the tribe to the last breath – Jason Momoa.

Interesting Facts

1. Steven Knight has written the script for the series and is its co-producer. He is currently working on a variety of projects, the most popular of which is the “Peaky Blinders“, which tells about a real-life gang of the Shelby brothers who operated in Birmingham in the early 1900s.
2. In parallel with the series “See” Jason Momoa starred in the 2nd part of “Aquaman“, which significantly increased the time of filming. Sometimes, many actors had to wait until Momoa came to the shooting. Nevertheless, Jason’s optimism and benevolent attitude did their job – no one was angry with him for his frequent absence.
3. The first season appeared on November 1, 2019 on the Appple TV channel and was broadcast until December 6. Each series lasts 55 minutes, a total of 8 episodes that are fully focused on the main character and his family.
4. Since the ratings of the 1st season did not seem impressive to the creators, it was decided not to sign a contract with the actors for the 3rd season. First, the second season will be released, after which the fate of the series will be decided. Many actors act only here, so they are very worried about the future of the project.
