The sequel to the exciting TV series “Snowpiercer” will take place on January 25, 2021. The show is based on a feature film of the same name, where the main character was Chris Evans, the beloved of the First Avenger from Marvel.

It is likely that the creators will want to proceed with the continuation of the show. But it will not be soon – there is as yet no information about the script.

Plot

Melanie Cavill knows the whole train. It is she who daily reads out messages for passengers and carries out instructions of the person who owns the railway transport. 7 years ago, a man-made disaster caused the complete permafrost on Earth. Many people managed to buy a ticket for a warm train. But there were those who remained to die outside it.

There were also rebels who were able to take one of the carriages by force. Unlike the rest, these people did not buy a seat on the train. They just didn’t want to die. Now they live an insignificant life in the “tail end” and periodically try to get out to where the elite resides – in the front carriages of the train. Wealthy passengers bought everything long ago, now they live in luxury.

Several times Andre Layton tried to arrange a riot, and the beginning of the series showed another attempt, which ended in failure. When the doors of the “tail end” opened, the train conductor asked Andre to leave the carriage and go with them. The reason was commonplace – there was a killer who hides the genitals of his victims, leaving only the body.

Prior to the history of a man-made disaster, Andre worked as a detective, while successfully moving up the career ladder. There was no longer a single person on the train capable of approaching the solution to the cruel criminal abducting genitals. But Layton does not want to cooperate with enemies for their own benefit.

A man puts forward his conditions, wanting to free his loved ones from life in the “tail end”. The main conductor and voice of the train, Melanie, agrees, citing the fact that the head of transport will agree to the conditions put forward by Layton. But the guy does not yet know what a dark story he has plunged into and what is cute Melanie.

In fact, when the girl’s long shift ends, she goes to the beginning … There, where does the train control come from. Constantly hiding behind the name of the head of the train, she does not tell anyone that she is “that very head”…

1. A huge amount of money was spent on the scenery. Instead of inviting popular actors to the project, the producers relied on the visual appearance and those who will become the new stars of the show. Connelly and Diggs, though not at the peak of popularity, but amazed everyone with their impeccable acting talents.
2. The most interesting thing about the project is that all the action takes place in a confined space. And even the carriage where strawberries are grown is more like a greenhouse than a suburban section, where, according to the rules of gardening, this berry should grow. About 20 trains were involved in the filming. The rest was filmed in closed pavilions.
3. It is known that the producers have been negotiating with TNT for season 2 for a long time, but they could not agree. If rumors of season 2 appear, then most likely the broadcast will continue on another channel, since relations with TNT at the very beginning of the filming were very strained and disadvantageous for the project.
4. The scene where the protagonist sees bright sunlight for the first time in 7 years was rehearsed for a whole week. As a result, Daveed Diggs arrived at the shooting in advance, in one day, and spent all the time in a dark bunker. The scene where he frowns and cannot look out the window turned out to be very realistic due to the non-standard approach of the actor and his ability to get used to the most complex image.
