Plot

It was the 7th day since, in the middle of the summer vacation, the school was clouded with darkness of unknown origin. There is no connection with the outside world. The students who were at that moment in school became “hostages” of the situation, and one can only guess how their parents worry about the boys and girls. However, there is another interesting fact: while drifting in this mysterious darkness, the guys discover superpowers. However, not all. And some adolescents believe that these forces only harm the school, because it is used by students uncontrollably.

Now 36 students must choose a leader who can not only keep order and distribute responsibilities, but also set new rules in the current situation. By voting, Cap was appointed as the leader, who, frankly, was not at all ready for this. Feeling the power, the guy managed not only to make enemies, but also made himself a laughing stock. It turned out that not only Cap can “hand out punishments”.

The guys begin to think about the nature of darkness and try to unravel its secrets. So, there is an assumption that in reality life the superpower will not work; time at school has stopped, which means there is no growth of a person, no healing of wounds, etc. Then where does the normal desire to eat and sleep come from?..

• Nagara — seems indifferent to everything that happens around him; walks around for days and does nothing; does not follow the chat, in which all students are members; after the introduction of the new rules, he is responsible for cleaning the school along with Hayato.
• Nozomi — used to live abroad; trying to figure out what’s what, looking for a reasonable explanation of what happened, studying the archives and recalling the strange events that happened the day before on the school grounds; does not have a phone, therefore, not aware of the latest school events; did not accept the new rules, but Nozomi is not a scandalous person, so she calmly perceives reality.
• Cap — once had success in baseball, because of which he immediately became arrogant; was collectively selected as a school leader; initially it seemed that Cap’s insecure nature would prevent him from controlling students and maintaining order at the school, but he immediately showed his fighting and aggressive attitude, for which he paid.
• Machi — is on the student council; not active, but often expresses her opinion on a particular issue; prepares for exams despite the fact that nothing is known about the future.

1. “Sonny Boy” is the original TV series produced by Shingo Natsume. He came up with the script and directed the anime. Shingo Natsume began his anime career in 2010. He has worked on projects such as “One Punch Man“, “Boogiepop Doesn’t Laugh“, “The Tatami Galaxy” and others.
