Plot
The soft tennis club is going through hard times. Toma Shinjo is the captain of a tennis club, but with the team he has a complete mess. Most guys do not want to strain, they do not worry about losses and the fate of the club as a whole. But Shin is a different matter. The future of the club is his personal pain. In the summer, after the tournament, the club will be closed if they show poor results – and this thought drives the guy crazy. But the appearance in the class of Maki Katsuragi changes the matter. It turns out that Toma has known the newcomer since childhood.
Katsuragi is in great shape. It remains only to persuade him to join the club and perform in the summer tournament. But bad luck – Katsuragi did not like this idea at all. After the persecution by Toma, Maki agrees to join the club, but on one condition – he must be paid. After all, this will not be entertainment for the guy, which means that let it be work. In response to such conditions, Toma unexpectedly agreed.
Now Maki will train hard. But it’s not that simple. Indeed, in the fate of adolescents in their personal lives there are problems, grievances, secrets, pain of the past … Will sports help to heal mental wounds? Or, on the contrary, emotional experiences will awaken sports anger, which will turn into a long-awaited victory for the team?

- Maki Katsuragi – the new student at the school where Toma is studying; he recently moved with his mother to a new home, so he had to change schools; the guy is physically resilient and athletic, he does not use the elevator at all, despite the fact that he lives on the 8th floor; Maki is independent since childhood, his mother works constantly, so he monitors cleanliness in the house and other household chores; Maki suffers from abuse from her father; after the guy got into the tennis section, he began to play in tandem with Toma.
- Toma Shinjo – team captain, ready to do anything so that the tennis club is not closed; wears glasses, but this does not prevent him from being a good tennis player; his older brother was once a member of the same club and those victories were the last in the history of the section; to save the club, Toma decides to persuade Maki to join the section, he succeeds, but not the first time.
- Yuta Asuka – becomes the manager of the guys tennis team after he received an offer for this place from Maki; Yuta is too soft, so other schoolchildren constantly tease him; the guy is passionate about Tom and Maki immediately notices it.
- Kanako Mitsue – Maki’s new neighbor; she often watches a game of tennis from a school window.
