“Stay Close ss 2”: release date, announcement
The tense atmosphere was in the air until the last episode. It is not certain that the TV series “Stay Close” will have a continuation, because the season 2 has not yet been announced, since a mini-series was originally prepared.
Recall that the writer Harlan Coben, whose book of the same name became the plot for a TV show, first published a novel in 2012, which became a bestseller.
Plot
Megan tears open the envelope in horror and wonders for a long time: who could bring the letter and write her real name on it? None of her family members know what she was doing before meeting Dave, and it is unlikely that they would have liked their mother’s dark past.
At the middle daughter’s tennis tournament, Lorraine, an old friend of Megan’s, shows up and asks to meet. To keep this a secret, the women meet later in a cafe. Lorraine tells Cassie that Stewart Green came to the club looking for her. All this seems to the heroine a terrible dream — she has not communicated with old acquaintances for a long time, and she saw the corpse of Stewart Green with her own eyes, since this served as a departure from her past life.
Thanking Lorraine for the information, Megan goes to her family. At this time, a 20-year-old young man Carlton Flynn disappears, now his father is looking for a guy. The crime is handled by detective Michael Broome, who investigated the loss of Stewart Green 17 years ago. It didn’t work out then, and Broome still blames himself, remembering Mrs. Green’s teary eyes.
Parallel to these events, something else happens: photographer Ray Levine is robbed in a parking lot. Of the valuables, they take away only the camera, on which Levine once shot forest landscapes one night. When his friend decided to take a look at the photos stored in the cloud storage, he noticed a man in them. Taking pictures, Ray mistook him for some kind of alcoholic.
Several days have passed since the shooting, and Ray’s friend recognized the guy: he turned out to be the same Carlton Flynn, who was wanted by the family and the police. Orientations were scattered throughout the city. Ray believes that the camera was stolen by a person related to the disappearance of Carlton. Not considering it necessary to fight curiosity, the man goes to that very place…
Endless questions and no answers — this is how season 1 begins. But gradually the fog dissipates and the viewer is shocked by the understanding of who is who. The worst chapter of her life lay ahead for Megan, and other people suffered along with it…
