Sword Gai: The Animation – anime adaptation of manga in 2012 “Sword Gai” in action genres, action movie, horrors supernatural, sainen and drama about the adventures of a guy named Gai Ogata. Preparation for the launch of the anime lasted almost 5 years, the first season will be released on March 23, 2018.

Anime story Sword Gai

Once a blacksmith named Amon Ogata, engaged in the manufacture of weapons, discovers in the thicket a dead girl with a still living newborn baby. He takes the orphan to himself, gives him shelter and a surname.

Years later, Gai Ogata turns into an apprentice apprentice armourer, but at the age of ten becomes a victim of foreclosure and is deprived of his right hand. Amon decides on an unusual step: forges a child from an old mystical blade, known as Shiru, a prosthetic arm. And all would be nothing, but Gai in unison with the demonic sword becomes incredibly strong!

After receiving such unlimited power, Gai’s measured life begins to change: he is expected not only by majestic victories with enemies and rancorous, but also cruel vicissitudes of evil fate …

1. The author of the manga Sword Gai Toshiki Inoue assisted in the work on such projects as “The Steel Alchemist”, “Detective Conan”, and he himself is the screenwriter of the anime “Death Note”, “Ranma ½”, “Ushio and Torah”, “Javara”, ” Sumo Momomo. “
2. For the first time, the beginning of the preparations for the anime release was announced back in 2013. Work on the project lasted almost 5 years, during this time, several volumes of manga came out, a prequel to it and anime advertising of the ONA format with a minute.
3. Anime-series has an age limit of 17+ due to the presence of bloody and violent scenes.
