Plot

Val Turner a year ago saw financial transactions on the account of her husband Owen, which spoke of his involvement in the money-laundering criminal gang. As members of the FBI, the Turner family got themselves in big trouble. As a result, Owen was imprisoned, and Val was demoted from the head of the department to the post officer.

The woman got a bad reputation because her colleagues believed that she was covering for her husband. As it turned out recently — in vain. During the last operation, Val found a clue that could lead her to Elena Fedorova. In a personal meeting, Elena shot Val and disappeared. After that, the same ill-fated money appeared on Owen’s account.

In fact, Owen himself did not know where the large amount of money came from. Only when Elena was in the hands of the FBI a year later did it become clear that she had set up the crime in order to put Owen behind bars. It was important for Fedorova to take revenge on the person who almost deprived her of the business that Elena had been building all these years.

While the criminal was with the FBI, her followers seized one large bank after another. In the vault, they found the contents of the safes of those people who were directly related to the interrogation. There was also evidence that they themselves are illegal citizens of their country.

Having managed to get to Elena in the interrogation room, Val decides to find out everything that interests her. But Elena only talks about higher feelings and revenge. Having met with a lawyer, Val realizes that Fedorova has evidence that can immediately release Owen from captivity. Which side the girl, whose childhood passed hand in hand with criminals, will choose, is unknown.

But Val was this girl, but already at a conscious age she chose the white side and went to work for the police. Elena’s young years were just as bleak, but she took a different path — she wanted power and a good life. How can two women on opposite sides of the barricades resolve the conflict? Which of them will be left free?
