Plot

William has a vague memory of his past life. Sometimes memories come to him, they haunt him, but he knows that memory is very important for his present life. As a three-year-old boy, Will found himself in another world, where he was surrounded by undead. Blood, Mary and Gus replaced his closest relatives. They enveloped him with tenderness, care and love. 1. The anime was directed by Yuu Nobuta, who created such anime as “Shuumatsu no Harem”, “High School Fleet”, “Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai” and others. His new anime project “I Will Quit Being the Hero” (Yuusha, Yamemasu “) is slated for release in 2022.
2. The anime “The Faraway Paladin” is based on the light novel of the same name, written by Kanata Yanagino and illustrated by Kususaga Rin. The boy’s story was first published in May 2015 on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website, where the novels of registered users are published for free. The site has existed since 2004 and currently has more than 800 thousand subscribers, and the number of novels available for reading reaches 400 thousand copies.
