Plot

Din Djarin is one of the lucky few to survive the bloody invasion of the New Republic. There were not so many ways to make a living, because the Mandalorians are known to everyone as excellent warriors. Having lost the opportunity to fight, Din decides to start looking for people for whom he will be paid. So he wanders around the edge of the Galaxy.

One day, a client gives him a task that immediately arouses suspicion in the Mandalorian. It is said that something needs to be picked up and brought to a specific person. Deciding to take on any business, Din agrees, and this changes his life forever. The “package” turns out to be a little kid, belonging to the same race as Yoda, a Jedi Master.

He looks very tiny, and at first the Mandalorian does not understand why someone needed a child. But when he finds out that this baby is in danger of death, he immediately decided to steal the baby back from the employers. Then Din learned that in the little creature there is an unprecedented power, which other people want to use for their insidious purposes.

Together they have come a long way. Sometimes the Mandalorian had to save his young companion, sometimes the kid spent his last reserves of energy to help Din escape from trouble. But it is necessary to continue making money, because someone has to feed them both. In addition to personal matters, they sometimes have to fulfill orders.

The problem is that the baby is still on the wanted list and other bounty hunters are constantly following the Mandalorian. Each time he proves the superiority of his race over others in the art of combat. But few people know that in fact, behind a brutal mask, there is just a man who was raised by the Mandalorians from a young age.

What will become of this strange father-and-son couple? Where will this union lead and will Din remain on the side of the Child? The new season will finally reveal the mysteries of the past that only the Mandalorian knew. But would he want to share it with others?..

Interesting Facts

1. The plot for the TV show “The Mandalorian” was ready for a long time, but due to the fault of Jon Favreau, the executive producer of the project, the process was “frozen” for a long time. Jon had to first finish his massive project for Disney, which was later shown as “The King Lion”. Only then did Favreau focus on “The Mandalorian”.
2. One of the participants in the TV series was Gina Carano, known for her success in MMA. After finishing her sports career, she was able to conquer the top of the film, and in the TV show “The Mandalorian” she got the role of a bounty hunter who wanted to receive an award for killing a child. She has a small but significant role for the plot, which Gina performed excellently.
3. Jon Favreau claims they filmed all season 1 at a film studio in Southern California. For this, a video wall with a 270-degree view was used, on which views of Chile and Iceland were broadcast. Filming lasted 5 months, which is considered a very long time for one season to come true.
4. When filming took place on the Manhattan Beach Studios California campus, very expensive items disappeared from the props. Jon Favreau was forced to go to the police.
