The continuation of the TV series “The Terminal List” has not been officially announced. Since season 1 was based on the Jack Carr novel of the same name, it is believed that new episodes will not be filmed. Also, the low ratings of the first season are not in favor of the season 2.

Plot

A wonderful husband, father and fighter, James Reece risked his own life more than once to save his comrades. So the next mission gave him the opportunity to once again show his courage. Unfortunately for the team of 14 fighters, the plan failed, and it became known that the enemies knew about the invasion of the special forces in advance. Deciding that the informant is a familiar person, Reece decides to take revenge.

But the headquarters are less positive. 12 soldiers returned home in coffins, a fighter who survived with Reece committed suicide in his own room. Not believing in the accidental death of his comrades, the commander is increasingly imbued with the idea that everything was planned in advance by the enemies. Also, the leadership assures him that many of the events he told are lies.

Having received the recordings of the video cameras that were on the heads of the special forces at the time of the operation, the leadership concluded that the panicked fighter accidentally stepped on a mine and blew up the others. Seeing this video, James was dumbfounded — everything was different! But he was left alone and there was no one to prove that his words were true.

Returning to the family, James begins to notice strange things. He forgets what his daughter once told him, became absent-minded, inattentive. This makes the wife very upset. Whatever she finds words of support — all in vain. And even time is not able to ease the pain of James from the death of people dear to his heart. But there is a conviction that there is a chance to prove the non-involvement of the dead in the failure of the operation.

Then James decides to find all the connections that will help him in exposing the people who leaked information and killed an entire team of army guys. Stocking up on patience, self-confidence and an impressive arsenal of military weapons, he sets off for a new battle with evil. But what success will it bring?

Renowned writer Jack Carr, a former Navy SEAL with 20 years of experience, who has written 5 books on military subjects, expects that his other novels will also be filmed. We just have to find out if it happens…

• Katie Buranek — a journalist who yearns for justice; writes stories that denigrate the leadership of the special forces and reveal the truth about suicide bombers and the tasks that military leaders set for them; finds Reece after an unsuccessful operation and tries to find out the reasons for the murder of 13 soldiers — Constance Wu.

1. For Chris Pratt, this is the second project released on Amazon Prime. The first project was the film “The Tomorrow War”, where the actor also got the main role.
