Back in the days when Clare Abshire was a little girl, a strange man visited her. He called himself Henry and even gave her a diary with the dates of their future meetings, while introducing himself as a time traveler. “The Time Traveler’s Wife ss 2”: release date, announcement
The continuation of the film adaptation of the novel “The Time Traveler’s Wife” by the famous writer Audrey Niffenegger has not been officially announced, although the storyline of Henry and Claire can be stretched indefinitely. Unfortunately, the average ratings for season 1 do not guarantee that the producers will want to renew the project for the season 2. On the other hand, they can analyze the mistakes noted by film critics and release new episodes in a better way. Therefore, if the season 2 is waiting for us, then it will be released no earlier than the spring of 2023, but for now we are waiting for official statements about the filming of new episodes.
Plot
Chicago librarian Henry DeTamble annoyed colleagues by throwing things around. Unfortunately for Henry himself, this was never his plan. The 28-year-old boy had the talent to move through time, while his clothes always remained in the present. But landing in a different time he had to endure completely naked, and even with a terrible feeling inside his stomach.
On another working day, he met Clare, who went to the library for a book of very sensitive content. By that time, Clare had already seen older versions of Henry on several occasions and knew that in the future she would become his wife. But this Henry, not knowing that Clare is his other half, behaved very unattractively.
After a fight with him after a stormy night, Clare goes to a bar where she meets Henry from the future. He asks for forgiveness for his behavior and assures that the relationship between them will still develop. At this moment, Henry from the present stands outside the bar and is gaining strength to apologize for indecent behavior. But to do this is not so easy, because he is not sure of his abilities…
Being the wife of such a man is hard. You never know what to expect, because one second you are having a nice time on the threshold of your own house, and a moment later there is only a bunch of things left from it. After some time, he reappears, but the moment is already lost, and this often makes Clare sad. And after such travels, Henry is incredibly sick.
Finding himself as a child, Henry explained how to adapt to his strangeness. It was not easy, but fate left no choice. And while Henry travels from world to world, Clare is forced to wait for him and hope that nothing happens to him this time. She is worried about the process of her husband’s disintegration into parts, which every year becomes more and more irreversible…

- Before filming season 1, Rose Leslie gave birth to a son with her husband Kit Harington, whom they met on the set of the TV show “Game of Thrones” back in 2011. In the TV series, Rose played a wild girl named Ygritte, and Kit later became the most recognizable character — Jon Snow, a bastard who went behind the wall in the final season.
- Theo James has been filming since 2010. His first picture, where Theo played the main role, was the crime TV series “Golden Boy”, filmed 2 years after the start of his career.
