“The Watcher ss 2”: release date, announcement
A season 2 of the True Crime story “The Watcher” has not been announced as the plot is fully revealed in Season 1. It is worth adding that even before the premiere, the creators of the project announced that it would be a mini-series without a sequel.
Plot
Nora was doing very well as an artist who organized her own exhibition. Dean’s earnings also allowed them to change housing for a more convenient one. So the idea of a change of residence came up, and the couple skillfully took advantage of it. Taking their children with them, they went to view the house of their dreams. The family was delighted and immediately decided to buy it.
The realtor turned out to be Nora’s classmate, Karen. She helped arrange the deal, and soon the Brannocks moved into house number 657. In less than a couple of days, the family receives a letter signed “from the Watcher.” In it, an unknown person says that he will follow them. After reporting this to the police, Dean and Nora decided to temporarily calm down and put up video cameras.
Daughter Ellie enjoyed her own room and playing the piano. But neighbor Maureen and her husband Mitch were not happy with the constant sound of music, which was soon reported to Dean in an unflattering manner. At this time, Carter, the son of Dean and Nora, was glad that his parents allowed him to have a groundhog. The boy loved to play with him, and one day he decided to put the animal in the kitchen elevator…

Opening the doors, Carter saw Jasper, a mentally ill neighbor who was hiding there. Having kicked him out of the house, Dean was very angry. The atmosphere in the house worsened due to the terrible mood of the father. And then the second letter arrived, from which it was possible to conclude that the installed video cameras did not save the family from the Watcher.
Now Dean and Nora were scared in earnest. And how not to be frightened when you find in your own house the corpse of a groundhog, recently presented to your son? The police pronounced the animal dead after it hit the wall, and everyone turned a blind eye to Jasper’s antics, considering him mentally ill, but not dangerous. The incoming letters continued to frighten the new tenants.
Now the Brannocks have to figure out the history of the house, which has been created over the past century. Nora and Dean learn about the deaths that have taken place here, about people who were considered friends, about neighbors whose motives are not simple in relation to them. And they are also waiting for a huge secret that lies in the basement of their current home…
