“Upload ss 2”: release date, announcement
The fact that the producers of the romantic comedy “Upload” will present new episodes to the audience became known immediately after the premiere of the first season. It was announced that the filming process for Season 2 began in January 2021 and ended in April of the same year. Therefore, the premiere of the continuation of the TV series can be expected towards the end of 2021. If any difficulties arise, the screening of new episodes will be postponed to early 2022. Plot
The 27-year-old Nathan lived without worries. A beautiful girl named Ingrid, a loving family, cheerful friends and an impressive bank account – all this helped the guy live to the fullest. He did everything he wanted, but one day something went wrong. He was involved in a car accident that resulted in injuries incompatible with life.
At a critical moment, when Nathan was taken to the hospital directly from the scene, Ingrid handed him a document that he could not read. Finding himself in an unfamiliar place, Nathan immediately realizes that he is in the afterlife. Wanting to use absolutely all the services of this eternal life, Nathan is trying to buy at least something…
Ingrid made it so that he could not make a single purchase without her permission. As a result, the poor guy is forced to lead a miserable existence, denying himself even a cup of coffee. Bad ideas immediately got into my head, but he accidentally found out that there was a way out of this world. But he is not completely sure that this solution really works.
His stay here was under the control of the operator Nora, who gave him advice on the location of the places and things necessary for rest. Even before Nathan died, Nora admired his appearance, and she joyfully became his guide. That’s just the restless nature of the ward at first created a lot of problems for the girl.
Nora’s frequent conversations with Nathan led the girl to fall in love with him. And after a short time the guy himself ignited feelings for Nora. Ingrid’s trick showed her true nature, and Nathan managed to see the kind and sympathetic nature of Nora for the first time. But what about together two people who are in completely different worlds?..

- Nathan – a successful programmer, a cheerful, resourceful guy; incredibly loved life, but in the end he died and ended up in the afterlife; misses earthly life, but after falling in love with Nora, his plans change – Robbie Amell.
- Nora – Nathan’s guide to the afterlife; constantly in touch with him; initially made several errors in the installation of Nathan, but in the end she was able to fix them; fell in love with him even before he got into the afterlife – Andy Allo.
- Ingrid – was originally Nathan’s girlfriend, who tricked him into signing documents giving her the right to use Nathan’s money; in the afterlife left him without money, which greatly affected their relationship – Allegra Edwards.
- Luke – a friend of Nathan, whom he met in another world; He spent 5 years in a wheelchair and finally decided to commit suicide, so he ended up here with his legs and the ability to live a wonderful life; tries not to get hung up on things that are not like the real world – Kevin Bigley.
Interesting Facts
- Allegra Edwards, although she agreed to take part in intimate scenes, she flatly refused to bare her chest in front of the cameras. The directors had to use all their skills to professionally hide the nudity of the Allegra character and, nevertheless, to show her cheeky disposition, built on financial well-being.
- Before filming, Andy Allo decided to correct her teeth and put in veneers. In order to enjoy her own smile for a long time, the girl had to take a loan, which helped her get to one of the best dentists. Almost half of the fee from season 1 went to pay off the debt.
- Kevin Bigley came to the casting as a leading actor. But the director categorically did not want to take an actor with brown hair – only close to the brown-haired man. So Robbie Amell appeared in the show, to whom the director sent a personal invitation to participate in the casting.
- The show management decided to focus on the morale of the characters and acting. Therefore, most of the funds went to pay fees. To create landscapes and views of the afterlife required much less finance.
