Plot
1800 years ago in China, 3 states were formed that were at war with each other: Shu, Wei and Wu. The Three Kingdoms period gave rise to the formation of three personalities, whose history has survived to this day. In 234 AD, the Shu troops lose battles and retreat, the emperor of this state, Liu Bei, dies; the commander of the state Wu goes along with his army to a confident victory; Shu’s military adviser, Zhuge Kongming, is on his deathbed. Remembering the amount of blood shed and the destroyed enemies, Kongming dreams of only one thing: to be reborn in a world without war.
Opening his eyes after a moment, Kongming saw a new city filled with neon lights and signs. Once in the center of the costumed crowd celebrating Halloween, he, dressed in the attire of his time, blends in perfectly with the people. The noisy and cheerful youth knows the history of Kongming, and the protagonist is not at all surprised that he is called by name.
On his first day in Tokyo, Kongming meets a girl named Eiko Tsukimi, whose singing literally fascinates him. Admiring her talent, ability to convey the meaning and emotions of the song, Kongming is ready to help Eiko fulfill her main dream — to win the hearts of listeners. But is it so easy to do it when a girl considers herself mediocre?..

- Zhuge Kongming — ancient Chinese commander of the Three Kingdoms era, who died in 234 AD; by nature a curious and inquisitive, self-satisfied and self-confident person; reborn in the modern world, where he is known as a great military strategist with an IQ of 100 million; in a club, he hears a song performed by Tsukimi and falls in love with her voice.
- Eiko Tsukimi — a young girl who dreams of a big stage; brings Kongming to her house after finding him sleeping outside; constantly participates in various auditions, but is rejected everywhere; a few years ago, she wanted to throw herself under a train, but then Kobayashi saved her.
- Kobayashi — owner of the BB Lounge where Eiko and later Kongming work; easily gave the job to Kongming at the first interview, as soon as he found out that he knew everything about the era of the Three Kingdoms, since Kobayashi is a fan of this period.

- The anime is based on the manga of the same name by Yuto Yotsuba and illustrated by Ryō Ogawa. The manga was first published on December 31, 2019 on the Comic Days website, since November 2021 the manga has been published in the Weekly Young Magazine. Volume 9 was released in April 2022.
- The series was directed by Honma Shuu, for whom this anime was the first project where he took the post of chief director. Also among the anime series in which Honma Shuu has taken part are “The Aquatope on White Sand”, “Appare-Ranman!“, “Fairy Gone”, “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.” and etc.
